And so in 2 days 18.75% of the BUMS will head off to Arizona as Ron, Daz & Mark B ready themselves to present us the Superbowl on BBC Two. Guys if you have a moment you are still most welcome to enter the Supergames. If others of you cannot make it to HQ next Sunday for the big game but still want to have a wager or two, we will be playing the usual games at the usual price of £1 per game. Attached is the price of the Superbowl players so you can enter your team (usual rules 1 x QB, 1 x K, 4 x Outfield Players for a maximum of $7.5m). The other games are First Player to Score (QB only if he runs it in), Half-time Score, Full-time score and leader by Quarter eg C,Tie,I,I. All-BUMS Voting Thanks to those who have already voted, for those who have not remember I need (in order) your top 3 Running Backs and top 3 Receivers plus your number 1 & 2 Quarterbacks, Kickers and Coaches. Vote for your players based on BUMS points, how much you enjoy them, what they meant to their BUMS roster/NFL team or just that they were on your roster. The deadline is this Thursday (January 31st) so get your votes in as soon as possible. NFL in the UK As I’m sure you are all aware after last years success at Wembley the NFL will play another regular season game in the UK next season. Rumours are San Diego will play New Orleans and the venue details may emerge this Friday so checkout nfluk.com then. The A-Train is de-railed Full Back Mike Alstott announced his retirement earlier in the week having missed the 2007 season with a neck injury. Mike Alstott scored 298 BUMS points in his 9 seasons on BUMS rosters. He is the Bucs all-time leading TD scorer, a 6 time Hall of Famer & a BUMS fave. Coaching Changes There are 4 head coaching changes so far though there are rumours that Lane Kiffin’s job in Oakland is in jeopardy. Atlanta signed Jaguars Defensive co-ordinator after Bobby Petrino resigned, Bill Parcells (the new Miami GM) has moved much of the Dallas staff to Florida and Cowboys Assistant Head Coach Tony Sparano is his new top man, The Ravens fired Brian Billick and got Eagles Secondary Coach John Harbaugh while after Joe Gibbs sudden retirement the Redskins are waiting until after the Superbowl before selecting their man. BUMS on Superbowl Seats The NY Giants will play the undefeated Patriots in Superbowl XLII which is this Sunday (February 3rd) in Arizona. BBC’s coverage of the RonDazMark show starts at 10.50pm, with Superbowl kick-off is around 11.20pm & Cher will be cooking a USA feast for 11pm so please let us know if you are coming by Saturday morning.
